Experience the art of this generation and the next. MONA’s exhibitions and educational programs are made to inspire and attract visitors of all ages and backgrounds.

MONA’s striking building, redesigned by architect Andrew Sidford, provides exceptional exhibition space for the presentation of work by contemporary artists.

Located in the heart of Portsmouth’s downtown area, MONA is in walking distance of the The Music Hall, 3S Arts, Strawbery Banke, and dozens of art galleries, theaters, restaurants, and hotels.

Visitor Safety

Mona will require proof of vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours to be admitted to the museum. In addition, masks will be highly encouraged while viewing exhibits. You may present a physical or smartphone copy of your vaccine card.
